Use Nero, if gamecube image is in a .gmc file format, select image from top of nero options area and make sure "show all file types " is selected, select file,

popup will happen:

datamode 1 should be selected
raw data not selected
block size-2048

all otheroptions are zero,
select ok

another popup
make sure Finalize DVD is ticked, select burning speed (do mine at 4x)
click burn

wait - job done

Even simpler: rename .GCM to .ISO, burn with default Nero settings (it detects the settings as in the above post), remember to finalize the disc. All done!

An update to my earlier post, I played a few more games and randomly had disc read errors which i had also got before i installed the chip with normal games. So i read the guide on PS2nfo.com and it said my ohm reading should be between 170 and 210 so i once again i took apart my cube and to my absolute shock the reading was at 350 ohm Very Happy lol no wonder it had trouble reading discs Very Happy Props to the guys who run the site cause it's an excellent site for very detailed guides. thx

No, he had to tweak the pot. And if you have no idea of what that means then you shouldn't even consider trying it yourself.
