Just because there branded by the name of the shop there made in doesn't make them bad if there a mid priced psu.
But i cancelled my order last night just can't part with that amount of money atm.
I'll probably end up re buying it later on.

With corsair you ALWAYS know what brand it is and that quality is fine. With this rebranded psu ,you dont know what it is inside...Its a little lottery,i dont see ANY reason why you should risk that way and to not get the Corsair for SAME money...
But its your choice of course...

Novatech are rebranded Corsair PSUs as far as I know. It should be fine, but I'd personally still go for an "original" Corsair (there is no such thing as you'll see below) or Seasonic.

No, you don't. Get your facts straight, I'll just burst this bubble for you. Corsair are the most annoying cunts when it comes to their PSUs, insanely inconsistent.
- CX Series: all CWT, except the CX400 which is Seasonic.
- GS Series: all CWT
- VX Series: VX450 is Seasonic, VX550 is CWT
Not too bad so far, now let the fucking clusterfuck begin and this shit is so ridiculous that I'm going for multi level lists:
- TX Series:
- - TX550: CWT
- - TX550M: CWT
- - TX650: Seasonic
- - TX650-C: CWT
- - TX650V2: Seasonic
- - TX650 3.0 (will be out soon): CWT
- - TX650M: CWT
- - TX750: CWT
- - TX750-C: CWT
- - TX750V2: Seasonic
- - TX750 3.0 (will be out soon): CWT
- - TX750M: CWT
- - TX850: CWT
- - TX850-C: CWT
- - TX850V2: Seasonic
- - TX850 3.0 (will be out soon): CWT
- - TX850M: CWT
- - TX950: CWT
- HX Series:
- - < 750W: Seasonic
- - HX750 and up: CWT
- AX Series:
- - < 1200W: Seasonic
- - AX1200, AX1200i (again, coming soon): Flextronics
Please note how retarded the TX650 series is, the most interesting of them all. You actually have to look at the actual type to make sure you got one of the good ones; the new CWT platform supposedly is massively improved, but the older ones were inferior to the Seasonic platform at the time.

Seasonic. All the V2's were Seasonic builds.

Hey Werelds, what's wrong with Corsair CWT builds? I have a VX550 and have had zero problems with it.

Nothing wrong with it per se, but Seasonic builds typically have higher sustained throughput; often very close to what they're rated at (with most PSUs, the "rated" wattage is actually peak wattage, they can't sustain that for longer periods) and CWT's OCP (OverCurrent Protection) is not as good. That last part means that if there's a spike on the power line, a Seasonic unit is more likely to protect your components.
