Some have good IDEAS, but no... for most gamers they're usually not "good" -- too many microtransactions, too much restriction on actions/tasks (everything costs ENERGY and TIME, etc, and from what I've heard Walking Dead Social is especially bad for its costs) while relying on making your pay for extras ... and, most damaging of all, is the social aspect. Everything outside of the tutorials requires you to pester and hound hundreds of "friends" on Facebook, even for the most simple of tasks.
Example, Sims Social. Want to buy a new bed for your apartment/house? It requires three of your friends all working with you build it
