Game Info Quote : 20 years ago we saw Pond complete his final mission and for many of us we've been waiting for the next installment to come along. Well wait no longer since your favourite Underwater F.I.5.H Agent, Bubble 07, with his Licence to Gill is about to get the Kickstarter re-boot we've all been waiting for! Combining the characters and gameplay we loved all those years ago with modern devices, updated graphics and sound, the original designer and even more of that punny/British Pond humour!

I hated James Pond on the Amiga. Crappy level design, "ker-razy" character, boring progression. Even as a life-long fan of platformers, and in my early-teens, I just despaired of it.

I'll take a quick look at the KS, but I'm not holding out much hope.

Now where's the damn Monty Mole KS, eh?

Ha I remember that game, didn't really like it. Prehistorik 1+2, Commander Keen etc were my favorites.

Ahhhh, yeah... Turrican ftw! Loved that to bits. I did so many complete playthroughs - I think the only game that I've completed anywhere near as many times was Final Fantasy 3/6. Very Happy

I was not taken by it back in the day from the first time JP showed up.. I guess I did not find it even inovative enough in those days when the most bizzzzzaarreee and weird wondeful things were springing up pushing the boundry.

id of rather for instance sat down and played the 100th run through of jetset willy or monty mole Very Happy

I'd certainly back a KS for a new JSW or Monty on the Run, sure, but James Pond was so friggin' cool as well! Really enjoyable game Smile

Exactly, I loved James Pond on the Amiga 500. I'm pretty sure this KS will fail though, but I'd like to see it happen.

Good memories from the early 90's, but i don't care that much for these remakes i have to say. If i want a bit of nostalgia then i play them on some emulator or just watch some "Let's play" youtube clip.

I don't think it's a remake, it's a new game. So it's not a matter of satisfying your nostalgia, it's more about whether you want new platformer experiences from these guys.

Cancelled since it was obviously not going to hit their target, closing with $16,000 of the $100,000 needed.
