I recently bought a Dell Dimension 5100 desktop and am having trouble with windows media player. After opening the program about 4 or 5 times to play avi's and mpg's, it will not let me open the program. So I will have to reboot the computer so that I can open the files again.
I have tried using windows media player classic but after I close the program several times, it freezes. I tried updating windows media player to v10 but am getting the same error.
When I turn the computer off, it says End program - DDE Server Window or End program - Windows Media Player.
