I want to upgrade from 0.8 to 1.0 BUT I want to keep all my Passwords for Websites / Forums.

How do I do this??

Are you sure. Try making a backup of your profile folder first. If it don't works you can go back to 0.8 and restore the the profile. You can also export your bookmarks.
And seriously, I hope that firefox aint your last stand for the passwords. Passwords should not be saved there. You should use a password manager like Password agent. Firefox crashes a lot and sometimes erases the whole profile. If that happens you're screwed.

well I have been using Firefox 0.8 for a VERY long time (Since 0.8 first came out) and I havent lost a password yet Very Happy

Yea, I exported the bookmarks... I will just uninstall firefox and do a fresh installation and go around all the forums I go on typing my info back in Razz

Well I made a backup of my 0.8 Firefox

Then I installed 1.0

I lost all my Saved Passwords and Bookmarks.

I then removed 1.0 and restored my backup of 0.8 and got All my Bookmarks and passwords back..

Ill upgrade to 1.0 in hte future, for now I cant be bothered re typing all my passwords in etc.

Install 1.0 OVER 0.8 i.e in the same directory you have 0.8 installed. It keeps all of your personal information.

I did that but it didnt keep anything (Luckilly I made a backup of 0.Cool
