"It appears to be a hugely elaborate strategy game with a headful of ideas and a heartful of confidence" Rock Paper Shotgun
Eador is a universe made of countless shards of land drifting in the Great Nothing. Each of the shards is a little world unto itself, with geography and denizens of its own. The power over the shards is bitterly contested by Masters, the immortal beings mortals believe to be gods.
Take the role of the mighty Master and shape the destiny of Eador! It is in your power to deliver the world from ultimate destruction – or to choke it with an iron fist of tyranny. Eador: Masters of the Broken World is a turn-based fantasy strategy game, where the decisions you make affect the world even deeper than the battles you win.
Key features:
- Balanced fusion of grand strategy, turn-based tactics and RPG elements;
- Boundless role-playing opportunities;
- Massive selection of stratagems and ways to wage war;
- An intriguing, non-linear story;
- An original fantasy world, living a life of its own.
This is a Let's Play of the coming game, Eador - Masters of the Broken World by Snowbird Game Studios. The game is still very much in beta testing mode and I've been lucky enough to be able to make this series on the current beta of the game.
For a one man game, Eador is more than decent. And it's not stressing any computers (well, i don't think that old computer means pentium 3 or the k7, right?!)
I couldn't run Genesis with my i7, weird fps lag.. probably because of core optimization problems.
So yeah, old computers are the only ones who can run it.

The computer in mind is a pentium 4 . I'll give at shot thanks
A Pentium 4 should handle the game witout problems.
Minimum system requirements: Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, 1 GHz Processor, 1 GB RAM (2 GB recommended), 3D graphics card compatible with DirectX 9.0c, Mouse, Keyboard.
It looks fantastic, and a typical game I would enjoy.
A damn shame I cannot get the first game to work, it has some serious fps issues, and I don't know how to fix it. It such an old game with weird issues on newer computers.
GOG has newer games? I've not checked their website in quite some time so I probably should check it more often if they have started adding other games to their collection.
(I got it via Gamersgate using those "blue coin" bonuses from buying other games, also got the previous game in the series for free as a pre-order bonus but I've been waiting for this to be released first.)
I'm really interested in this game. As it looks pretty nice and i like how it seems to mix Civ with turn based combat.
So, some mini reviews would be cool
