The Seal of Evil story is set in the twilight years of the Warring
States period of Chinese history (476 206 BC).
This turbulent time marks the disintegration of the longest lived of
all imperial dynasties, the Zhou. Out of the strife and chaos emerges a
nobleman possessed of an indomitable spirit and an uncompromising vision
of the future: Ying Zheng, ruler of the Qin state.
He will stop at nothing to reunite the disparate Chinese kingdoms.
Combining ancient legends and mythic storytelling with historical fact,
Seal of Evil sets the stage for an epic adventure wherein the players
struggle to thwart the Qin invasion of their peaceful homeland,
East Baiyue. Ferocious beasts, merciless enemy soldiers,
wicked bandits, and terrifying supernatural foes are hazards they
must face in order to achieve this goal. There is still hope for them,
however, for along the way they will also make many friends and
acquire powerful weapons and equipment. And armed with mighty
elemental magic, they may yet come face to face with
the very Gods themselves.

This sounded a lot like a game that came out a few years ago called Prince of Qin, so I checked Google. Sure enough, this is a prequel. Here's a review of the first game:

You've got to be kidding me, right?
Loved Prince of Qin, it's one of the few games I have ever completed.
Seal of Evil looks like a combination of Sacred + Prince of Qin. The sum of this combination would make for one extremely fun game.

Looks ok, seems to be a nice Diablo clone. I'll give it ago until KOTOR 2 arrives.
My friend bought this game and he says it's a good game. Nice gfx, a good storyline and good combat...well that's enogh for me.

Dull, dated, and deeply dim-witted. Let's snore together.

I think I'll pass. I'm tired of these 2d diablo style rpg games.

LOL! They sure are amatures. How the hell do you let something like that slip by?
Doesn't point to good production values at all...
I mean hell, if you can't even beta test your installer to catch that, god only knows what condition the game itself is in.

WOW, I am able to install DirectX 8.1 from the install menu (yea, let's get rid of that newer version).

I have a feeling this game is gonna be crap... So why did I download it ??? Because of the total lack of RPGs atm :s

Well it was free so I'll try it...
