When I start borderlands 2, I get the launcher.
When I click "play", I get the circle-busy-icon for a second or 2, then nothing happens.
No sign of the game, even in the task manager.
Starting the borderlands2.exe manualy, same thing.
No error or what so ever.
Anybody know what could be wrong?
Win7 64bit.
2.5Ghz quadcore.
GeForce 8800 GTS

Well, there is two things I can think of.
Firstly, steam needs to be installed for these emulated Skidrow cracks to work. Installed, not running.
Second, Physx. Install it from Nvidia as it is not available from installation. If you were missing .NET, C++ redists etc, usually you get an error. Physx is the only one I know of that can just exit the application without giving anything
If that doesn't help seems it is a common problem with legit version too. Check this thread at Gearbox:

You're not trying to use FXAA/SMAA injectors are you? I had the same "nothing happens, not even an error" when using a modified d3d9.dll

Hi guy's, thanks for the answers.
Don't know if I had steam installed keddl, guess so, because eventualy I got it started.
sabin, I have nog clue what those injectors might be, so I guess I didn't use them 
I tried a couple of things, and it might be my firewall.
I guess the first time, I didn't add the rule correct to my firewall.
I applied the rule again, and the game started.
weird, because I would expect a error from steam or something like that if it tries to connect to a verification-server.

damn i have tried everything and still cant get the game to run with any update,im using the 3DM crack as it the only one that works for me,anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work or if there is any other crack?

another fine example Skirow can't fucking crack
today i installed this game on my pc to check or rather compare it to the xbox360
bam not working ... ok so let's install all needed shit that consoles does not need ...
new nvidia 310.33 with new physx 9.xx something ... not working
ok new dx 11.1xxx something with ms c++ from way back of 2008 ... still not working
ok so let set the compatibility to windows xp sp3 with administrative privileges ... nope
let's check they stolen crappy emulator they use ... checking they ini for the correct steam ID number ... seems ok ... but game does not work ... checking calls ... wait it calls Valve steam ??? what the fuck ... ok

let's test those calls by installing steam and making it off line by fucking turning off your modem/internet from power with a axe ... ok ok calls work
game starts
they new steam emulator needs steam installed to emulate steamceg that uses triggers in every achievement ... the thing is they didn't write this is they nfo because they know if they would they would be autp nuked for using... RUSSIAN methods of running games "Why crack when you can emulate" ... emulating a DRM ITS NOT CRACKING !!!!
the thing is they emu will be obsolete in a new OS or in a system that can't install steam
so to run this game you have to install steam ... and they new emu auto turns this game in a offline game ...
a proper group should cracked this again

Emulating DRM functions IS cracking. As long as it works fine.

but forcing you to install steam to make the emulation work is crap , thats is not cracking thats EMULATING , cracking is when you remove the drm and rebuild the exe making the game independent |
