WTF? Games over-load this month. I'm not touching a single game, until I'm done with Dark Souls. Even after that, this game would probably be my lowest on my priority list. Razz

Dishonored is on my instant play list, right after I'm done with DS. This piece of shit can wait, or it gets canned, depending on how the reviews pan out. Didn't like the last Bond at all. Truth be told, I have yet to see a Bond game which matches the level of gameplay in Everything or Nothing. Now that was a bona fide Bond game. Very Happy

Agree about the last Bond game, I didn't even finish it. I finished the one before that (not talking about goldeneye remake) and was pretty average... 6/10. So im expecting this to be about the same.

mini review : just finished Goldfinger in about 1h15 (really short Razz) in medium difficulty (but auto regen mode, sorry Razz).

So :

framerate is indeed sometimes dropping, but 90% of the times it's running at 60fps, FSAA 4X, just like goldeneye 007 reloaded. So graphics are kinda meh, although Fort Knox is really nice.

gameplay : plays just the same as goldeneye 007, except they added some (shitty) quick time event where you need to melee sometimes, which are completely useless and too easy... it plays well for a FPS, nothing amazing.

sound : well, you'll be chilled when you will hear the Goldfinger theme through the game, so i'm sure you will love it. Voice acting : i can't comment about the original voice actors since it was dubbed in french here (and wasnt the original dubbers at least...).

Overall : nothing amazing, if the game didnt have the 007 license, I would have said it's a generic FPS, kinda meh. But it is 007, so if you liked Goldeneye 007 Reloaded, you will like it too... It's a time killer, it's not GOTY, but it's fucking 007 !

Thanks for the quick review cyclone! Good to know it's at least decent enough to give a go; I didn't expect much outside of the 007 licence, but that's just fine.

Another one down Razz

This one was a great surprise because I expected so little The game got better and better especially towards the end. It felt like a COD game... aka fun short ride, lots of nice visuals during the scripted sequences, I was actually like WTF... is this a bond game at times. Huge level variation, with decent gfx.

Id say the game is about 4-5 hours long, so if you got some spare time after all these other AA games, check it out Wink

Come on, they're almost identical. Even the interface is the same, and half of the weapons too I guess. Although it gets more fast-paced at fort knox yeah.

Anyway, what are you supposed to do in the skiing mission? The chick just speeds away and I can't catch up even if I don't hit any rocks and trees.

Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

Strange, I really do think the models at least look way better :/
Anyway, you're supposed to press "LT" to gain more speed to catch up to her Smile

@Hfric: Yeah, imo that was one of the hardest missions...

I still think Quantum of Solace from Treyarch was better, but this one is good too.

well it looks like a 2002 game with early pixel shader 2.0 ... yes it looks terrible but the gameplay compared to GoldenEye remake its better way better on easy its ultra short 3h , my other half finished it in that time when i am still struggling with it on 007 difficulty now in License to Kill MAP 6 ...

the only thing bugging me is that SKYFALL and its 2 maps single player is a DLC Sad

the DLC is dated 20.11.2012 the thing is in a month i will totally forget about this game ... heck i have like 730 games on my back catalog on other platforms to finish

so it will be oh DLC for 007 legends... F it first i have to finish darksiders 1 then part 2 then ... oh Jugion on Wii on Doplhin then ... oh Alien Logic on PC ... oh etc.. you get my drift
