Maths is fun ^^

Just look at it as the code of the universe and you are about to crack it! Becomming the supreme ruler of all that is and will be!
Atleast it makes it sound less boring! xD

I'm so happy that I'm done with math . It's just a temporary truce though, I sense that I will have to deal (again) with that pesky stuff soon

Matlab bitches. You won't learn any math with it but maybe the cpu will

Yeah I've been using that and often when I test some scripts I'm like

Complex math is a waste of time. There are computer programs designed for that stuff. In fact when I was taking physical chemistry II last semester, half of the book talks about how to use such a program to perform gaussian calculations of molecules
Because by hand it would take days. Time is worth money

Not always.
For practical usage, sure, that's what computers are made for
But in some cases you need to figure something out that computer simply cannot do. And then when you learn that complex math, you can figure out how to put it in a computer, and then it's no longer complex \o/

As someone who tried bottoming, I'd disagree with your statement

I can never get bored with gay puns xD When you use one too many times, then it becomes boring, but new stuff is fun xD

What sucks is that I went through it all, painstakingly, never had a easy time with math, up to those, even forgot what they are called now, matrices^99.. sin functions my butt etc..
NEVER USED IT ONCE IN MY WORKING LIFE!!!!!111!!111!!11!!1

It took me almost two years to defeat that monster (engineering here). I still dream subspaces and vectors at night xD

Ixi you'll always have a special place in my heart <3

Ahhh, matrices, that's nice...
Currently I'm working with general relativity and field theory, where you often don't work with simple 3 or 4 dimensional stuff (like, here's 4x4 matrix... NOT! Here's your Riemann tensor with 256 components! Bwahahah *evil smile* ), so I only see indices thrown around. But it looks cool, and it's interesting to see how you can write something so complex in a rather easy and neat way ^^
