Whatever, second hand games are cheap and I buy only exclusives for PS3... It's really not that you need all those games. I downloaded lots of them for xbox and did not play some of them still, some played for a few minutes. It doesn't make sense anyway.

But why is everybody acting like it's already been cracked? The announcement just said that they are working on it. Sure, they got experience and all, but still it could very well be that they fail as well...

Fuck you Sony. Then at least rerelease some really awesome PS2 games on the PS3.
Like Shadow of the Colossus. Ico. Persona 3/4. MGS 2/3.
And those are only the ones that I can think of the top of my head.
Anyways. this is interesting news but not as exciting as some people make it seem.
I'll just wait and see what comes from it.

I'm kinda surpised they haven't delved into the PS3 before to be honest.
I've a PS3 but I use it as a paper weight. The a hack would be nice for homebrew/psn but for backups, I only ever really play heavy rain and wipeout. Looking through this years exclusives list I can only find one I'd buy (GT5) and I'd buy it rather than copy (should a hack be done by then). It might give me a use for the BR writer in my laptop though.

Despite what apparently most people think the story was actually quite intriguing.
Granted, the gameplay was meh and scaling the enemies is stupid to begin with but I liked the story and I would have liked to know where they were going with it.

to burst your bubble just like 360 that burns on DVD9 even the smallest 800mb games+padding , PS3 does the same they use a double sided 50gb + padding
and those bds are like 17-20 euro just for ONE 50 gb DISK its 17x5= 85 euro

Look everybody! It's apparently a xbox fanboi! 
The PS3 (as well as the XBOX) has decent exlusives.
MGS, Uncharted series, God of War series. Gran Turismo etc.
XBOX got Gears of War, Forza, Dead Rising, Crackdown etc. oh and Halo. Don't forget Halo.
so the whole "it got no games!" is totally ridiculous.
@Hfric:
sooner or later those, as well as Blu Ray writers are gonna drop in price but until then? Fuck that, way to expensive to be practical.

thats what i am trying to tell him ... yes i could pirate the ps3, buy a BD50gb Verb for 25€ to burn one game ....or wait 6 months {or sooner} and buy it cheaper for the same price or less like i got today a brand new CE of heavy rain still with the original sealed foil with a valid code for the DLC ... all that for 10€ 
if bd50gb wouldl cost me like my DVD9 Mints that are 1€ ,THEN i would pirate all shit on the ps3...like i do for my 360

only of Fat PS3 60gb with old firmware (from 1.91 to 2.50ish) that still booted the PS2 HD Loader and the PS2 Swamp Disk ... today's ps3s are on 3.41
just like on the ps2 same here swamp the disk or do a USB HD loader |
