My electricity bill would probably be something like ten times what it is now if I didn't have central heating and wanted my place to be warm. I have lived in a flat before with electric heaters and they are expensive and not long after you turn them off it gets cold again.

I remember when i twas -22C at one point here a few years ago. But like Newty said, we have central heating which helps a LOT, its not too expensive and it's always very warm. Heating using electricity is very freakin' expensive and you're still cold.
