So 3 weeks ago I noticed my CPU temp are really rising. From 58C max I went to 68C. Today I saw fucking 74C on core 1. Sooo I opened up case, unmounted freaking heatsink and guess what? Fucking base for that madafucking heavy cooler is broken right on the place for screw.

How this could happen is beyond my comprehension... I checked base when I mounted heatsing last time and it was OK.

Have the same one and mine is idling at 30C and max at 54C on an X4 955 @3.8Ghz. Maybe it was bad from the start and broke now.

Yeah, I provisory reaseated the heatsink and applied new thermal paste and temps are OK for now... lets see for how long...

Anyway I found spare parts on artic website... new base costs 58 cents, delivery 3€Very Happy not bad at all.
