Strange. Mine worked fine.
Burned it on a verbatim cd-rw.
A mad booring playable character in the demo by the way :/

fine here on cdr, who's that guy meant to be, looks like the guy out of Blade film, lol
Anyway looks like this could be best one yet, nicely detailed, but really they need to end the series or do some nice major overhaul on next gen.
Nothing comapres to Soul Calibur though,
tekken vs Soul calibur anyone - now that would sell bucket loads

Maybe you have an older ps2 and cd-rw only works on newer ps2's? I have the newest non slim model, a v10. Or maybe it's a chip thing.
About tekken vs soul calibur. I dont compare them since soul calibur is much about weapons while tekken is about pure fighting. If I want pure fighting I pick tekken and if I want fighting with a twist (weapons) I pick soul calibur.

right! i played that game for 5 minutes and then turned it off, but with the feeling i was forgetting something... thx for the heads up!

yea tekken 5 kinda seems the same as 4 with better graphics.
the game is still slow in comparison to sc2, which is still the best fighting game ever.
i just love it that in sc you can reach your enemy in a sec even if he s far away, cuz the game is damn fast and the weapons have a good reach.
in tekken it goes much slower, you cant have dramatic battles as in sc.

the game gets boring in about 10 minutes of playing.. loading time takes forever with cd... I tried burning it to dvd... not working///

if its taking forever to load on cd, must be your laser, fine on mine, just a couple of seconds, personally think this feels more like the old tekken 1, which was the best, think this one will do well

yeah no problems with loading..etc
But hmmmm not sure about the game or it's graphic... PS2 had enough  seem to me just same as the last one.

it looks really nice, not really jaggy and the lighting effects are great but the gameplay aint anything interesting, its a bit faster than tekken 4 but imo tekken 3 is still the best of em, and soul calibur 2 is still untouchable.
