Cannot launch the game after applying English patch, "Cannot load resource files. Re-installing the game may fix the problem"
I've tried the obvious (re-installing) but it didn't help, exactly the same problem.
Any ideas?

Everything has weird shadows or something around them. Kinda reminds me of borderlands. Is it supposed to look like that?

have following problem
Uplay seems to be updating forever, bar gets all the way to the end then just starts over again, weird, and annoying.

Try deleting the contents of this folder in Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\Cache\Patch. Then restart and see if that helps.

Installed the patch, eng language from cs rin ru, modified the registry values, after that the game launches just fine from uplay, but hangs at the loading screen. Black screen, task manager says that FarCry3.exe is running.
Any ideas?

Got it working, re installed uplay.

Yes. Change SSAO to HDAO or HBAO for a more natural effect.

Meh does not work (Far.Cry.3.Deluxe.Edition.MULTi-5.Cracked-P2P). In Uplay just says ""Unable to start the game. Please check that your game has been installed correctly."

i'm on 3DM multi 5 release but if i launch cracked uplay i get message i need to go online to activate game ?

Got it running, but have yet to find out if in English or not.
Go into the .reg file that was included with the English pack and change the last entry from "en" to "us" or "English" save, then run it again and add that changed entry to your registry.

Just go online and hit ok when it asks you to enter a serial and activate. It will work fine.

Download that English pack, then copy the files over, overwriting where necessary.
Once that is done, rename all of the _english.dat/fat files to _russian.dat/fat, deleting/moving the old files first. Now I have all cutscenes/dialog in english.

The original Steam006 crack is what I'm using and it works just fine.

What I did was install game -> Install legit uplay -> Apply crack ->Run the fc3 updater ->Login with bogus uplay account that I made ages ago to play anno.
Now all the menus are in russian so I didn't get much further. :/

Do the regedits (manually, preferrably) and install the English files pack from cs.rin.ru, renaming the english files to russian as I said above. After that, it should work properly.

I'm having trouble with the regedits. Manually edited them into the registry using regedit. Uplay launches the game but then it throws an error 0x002 failed to find essential information in the registry.
Used that exact info JB posted.

Ah sweet, I completetly missed that you had to do regedits.
I did a regedit search for "far cry" and edited all the times it said "russian" to "English" and the one time it said "RUS" I edited it to "ENG"
Works perfectly fine now, cheers.

Did you copy the crack to the correct folder? It sounds like your uplay isn't using the crack.
You have to put it in the uplay folder, not the far cry one.
Only thing I can think of that you might have done wrong.
