Hi all,
I bought the latest HB (THQ), which contains SR3, but I can't activate the Steam Key in my country (Sausageland).
Will give out free smilies for anyone in the United States of Whatever to activate it for me & gift back. 
Plus, I will love you forever.
PS: If you double-cross me you will be banned from NFO.
Anyone

Can't you just give the key, say activate on another account and then select that you actually don't want it in your library, but your inventory so that you can gift it? |

No. It'll either go straight to your library, or say "product already owned" and reject the key, if you already have the game.

maybe I got that one wrong ;o When they said Germans can now buy and activate I guess they meant they can get the low violence German version.

It's been a while since I last activated a key (ok, more like a year or two) but are you sure about that? I don't remember ever seeing such an option, just went straight to my library.

Ugh then there won't be any other option than actually handing over the account for a temporary time 
Set your password to a temporary one, be sure to provide the key that you receive per email when the other person is trying to access your account and then wait for magic to happen

I could Activate the Key i got from the Humblebundle guys without problems living in Germany (Berlin) myself.
There was no mention of it being a low violence version while activating or in my libary.

I did play it for a bit and there was a lot of blood, when i killed that berserk dude at the shop the grenade ripped off the head so i think it should be uncut.

Well it's for the better. If you tried to do it your police would probably arrest you for being a terrorist or something. Only terrorists think the goverment is wrong
