Ok so I don't even know if this guy was real or not. We just got done playing a dota match and were talking about some random shit.

ugh crytek... its not their games that i have issue with, its the company... theyre a terrible company, that has no interest in supporting its community, being honest, having any integrity...
that said, their shitty attitude aside, i LOVED crysis.. yes... even the alien bit, i thought it was a nice change-up to a fantastic game, i loved how it was handled, how the aliens being unleashed was introduced, i love the setpieces and i loved how the enemy changed (unlike crysis 2... alien, human, they all felt the same)
the only issue i had with crysis was that it could have been optimised better (i think warhead proved that, didnt it?) - although thats not THAT big of an issue, compared to how it ended, and the fact crytek symbolically killed everyone off to demonstrate that they were 'done' with pc gaming.

I'll argue this until I'm blue in the face, people complained about shitty optimizations, the game was simply way ahead of it's time and ahead of the hardware out. Compared to any and all games out, there really isn't much I'd say is in the same league. To this day I think it's prettier than anything else and it's more photo realistic vs something like Metro where everything looks like that Unreal engine plastic.

well i dont think i said shitty optimization, i just said i think it could have been better, they certainly implied that it would run better, and i THINK that warhead ran better than crysis did, didnt it?
anywho, i never said it ran shittily, just that i think improvements could have been made.
and i sure as heck didnt say it didnt look fantastic, because it did.

Ya Warhead I think improved the FPS by I think 10-20FPS but it used an updated version of the engine I think. |
