see, the problem here is that crytek can do fun single player games and pretty graphics... which is why, even though theyre flawed, their single player games are pretty enjoyble.
what they CANT do, is support a multiplayer game. these guys just can. not. manage. a. multiplayer. game. they dont know how. none of their games have ever had decent mp support.

original crysis multiplayer was epic and super fun, too bad there was lack of players because crysis was so out of time in that period, latter it got infected by gazilion of cheaters and half servers didnt use pb so game just died out..

well i used to play it, and it was indeed epic, BUT, as i said, crytek never supported it. it was FULL of cheaters and crytek never did anything about it. as i recall, the last straw came when everyone was crying out for crytek to help out and fix the cheating... and what did they do? released a map pack.
fun multi-player, zero support where it counts.
people also begged crytek to fix some of the silly bugs in the mp, but that never happened either.
and again with crysis 2... filled with cheaters because crytek left the freakin door wide open to pirates to come and play! i forget how long it took them to bother fixing it, but i managed to get up to level 20... and that was with not even playing it that often.
not sure how people can have much hope that this will be any different... or crysis 3 for that matter.
crytek make fun games... fun multiplayer too... but as i said.. they just cant support it. as a developer, they just dont give enough of a fuck about the people who play their games.

i like the huge-ass X's when you hit people. its like positive reinforcement that you're doin good!
i think the next logical step is confetti raining down the screen upon every successful hit, accompanied by cheering.
