Get an AC Delco, or Optima battery. They are quite expensive but you'll be out of battery problems for a very long time. Also Kirkland Signature and EverStart offer a great price/quality ratio.
On car problems subject : my windshield just got chipped. A stupid, ancient Daewoo car threw a small stone and bam!, i have to spend 30 euros to fix it.

Get a coupé warmer and put it somewhere suitable prior to driving.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

either the battery is bad, or the alternator is bad. a way to check is to jump start the car then unhook the battery while the car is running. Just the negetive post mind you dont touch the positive terminal with a wrench, if it dies its the alternator. Also you could have a short in a switch or a live wire thats grounding out and draining the battery

I read some different opinions on the net. Most people think it's either battery or alternator, but some say it's not recommended to unhook the battery while the motor is running. Ill jump start it and drive to my home town next weekend and my grandfather should have the proper tools to see whats wrong with it.

Get one of those portable reserve chargers that you charge in your apartment, then bring down to you car and connect so you can start your car. A solution until you can get a new battery.

The car battery acts as a current.. regulator?, that's why you shouldn't remove it while the engine is running. Except if your car is before the 90's and doesn't have any electronics in it.. then it's fine - I've done it to my Moskvich.
You can park the car in a garage and hook it up to a car battery charger..

uh oh...I had a car that killed batteries.. Never could find cause. Replaced alternator several times..Could have been radio, amp, subs, bad wiring..something was killing the battery. I had car tested out by professionals to find cuplrit, but nothing came about. I use to have to get the car pushed and pop the clutch to get it started. Sold that toyota celica..Now, my cheap chevy prizm which replaced it runs flawless..with a 5 year old battery.

Had another battery problem a week ago which cost me 35 euros (called a car help service to get it started) and tonight I managed to fall into a ditch when driving home from a movie night. Cost me 50 euros to get it out, also 1.5h of freezing cold. There's a random ditch next to the road in front of a block of flats. And there is snow all over it and no fucking signs of it being there what so ever. Local residents went by and took a picture. We're gonna file a complaint to the Housing cooperative(?) and hopefully Ill get my 50 euros back and they'll remove the ditch or put up proper signs. Locals are pretty pissed and want to get rid of it. No money to buy presents for anyone now :<

was reading german article today about the new AGM type car batteries , they are more expensive but start much better under cold tempatures and dont lose alot of that maximum power after going completely flat.
