Sad, but true. This will go the way of Firefly if it's anything decent, which is a goddamned shame. Still, one season is better than none.

meh looks avg at best from that trailer anyhow.
Its certainly not out the box type of scifi, its just the typical drama, under all the sort of "scifi" type visuals it seems its really wrapped in a Neighbours style soap opera

A screenshot from the game (since we don't have a topic in PC Games section yet, and i'm too lazy to do it ).
It's nothing special, just an average MMOTPS with some RPG elements.

I found the game pretty interesting, tbh. I'm kinda hoping it'l last more than Tabula Rasa since some of the gameplay elements feel very much the same.
I wonder how the game world and show world will interconnect.

Im trying to like it but.. it seems so flat the enviro... and the voice acting is drab i find .. its like a definitive start and stop feel to the dialogue in the tones of the voices. Which has narked me in other games.
so far I am not holding much hopes for the gameplay here, its just lacking.. and for trion feels very unpro on it all, beta or not Id of thought it would be fleshed out a ton more.. when you even start doing the first set of missions to get you into the understanding of the UI, nothing feels like its bad news going on, u can just easily run through or even walk through the contested areas and u get effects around u on the ground but no such thing as damage
ugh... I really expected to see a much much deeper gem than this so far though.
fingers crossed it gets better. |

ok its getting better it seems, gameplay is improving, they need to make the start of it though much more engrossing or some can be put off at that point and not continue.
also when they ask for feedback be nice they dont slam it up in my face when im being attacked

Yeah compared to most other MMOTPS, this one is actually the better one amongst them.
Plays fluid, no graphic problems (like with 90% of the game), aiming feels good (meaning i don't notice any major delay issues), and i actually quite liked the voiceacting. Ofc it's not SWTOR quality, but better then most F2P games

Voice acting got better in later parts of the story available in beta, with Cass being the most noticeable character. Mobs are VERY poorly voiced and silly, especially mutants. Also, the engine seems to handle mass action VERY well. I was in a...70 player (I think) Arkfall event. Did not have ONE problem (except for the Arkfall itself being bugged, it kept spawning mobs). Aiming is very responsive and driving feels very solid. There's still some bugs to iron out but I'm sure it's going to be very polished once it is released, even more so than now.
Kind of waiting to see the business model. Afaik it's Freemium as there's a nonfunctional in-game shop.

Meh, right now. everyone keeps dcing around 30 secs ingame since 4 hours ago... No word from devs or anything..
Like i said there on the forums (if i look at how they handle things and report back to the community): Somehow i have a feeling that this "beta test" is just to hype the game, nothing more.
Shame how companies abuse "alpha" and "beta" testing in the last couple of years, just to hype up their game (and get some money already via ingame shop, because those are finished first before anything else  )

played for last 4hrs saussage and no dc etc all fluid.. did like the aiming and the fact shots on the body and head are different etc blah blah..
will keep watching it as it grows, wonder if the beta selection is random? and just cause you played this weekend dont mean you will get in again on the next?

Edit: just did a load of arks and other things nothing to report, no lag etc no drops. hehe

Guess it's the routing towards certain countries then. Oh well, now it's too late anyway for this weekend event.
Some are reporting that the DCing might be related to having a quest in the log. Did you do question aswell?
