Urgh, piss poor European service. Few months ago I made an error in buying rayman for their stupid vita instead of PS3. Sure should have looked better, but it was the crappy shop back then did a search and it was around the vita launch so I didn't realise I could buy that crap on my PS3.
Their website put me in contact with the US service, for them it wasn't a problem to change it to a ps3 version or give my money back... then he noticed I was from EU. So he asked me to contact them instead. Which gave me a big fat NO even after I showed him the e-mail with the American one saying it wouldn't be a problem.
Few days ago another derp thing... I recently moved to Sweden so I wanted to change my account details... Can't change the country, so I tried on their websites, my PS3... nothing.
"yeey! time to contact EU support" I thought.
The message I got back: We don't have this option due to security reasons. Furthermore you will not be able to use any creditcard or prepaid cards if they are not from the same country in your accountdetails. So we would advice if you stay longer abroad to make just another account.
Fricking shit service, it's 2013 even more people move around now to start a life elsewhere. Same noob shit with Origin that does not have the feature to change language to english. SOE america seems to get one can make (A really stupid) mistake in their shop, their EU counterparts are unforgiving putting even salt into the wound by saying: "You should have looked better". ARSES!
Seriously fricking internet and media lately. Seems instead of gaining features, everything gets stripped and most stuff looks half done. Makes me feel old but I liked the pc environement a lot better before it got so mainstream.
Rant over (for now
).
