Seriously, this shit is driving me crazy...
Youtube is slow as fuck, it takes forever to load anything at times. However as soon as I try vids that aren't youtube they load real quick.
Anyone else who's having issues with youtube loading times ( I mean sometimes it can buffer for almost 2 minutes 720p)?

Yup, have that as well. would only just buffer fast enough to watch 480p. I usually had to let 720p buffer for a few minutes. Speedtests placed me at 41mbit, so I doubt its that.

Well, I know it's not my ISP. Since it's Telia I do know they're ace at routing (at least witin their own network) and I've got a 100/10Mbit connection.
At first I thought it was my router, but nope...plugged the cable straight (release/renew) into the socket and still had problems with YT.
It's annoying as hell since I find myself nowdays using GT for trailers and shit like that then YT.
Ohh, and pinging googles DNS about a hundred times gives me an avrage of 20ms which is pretty fast. Ugh, but fuck it...I R SADZ! T_T
And pinging youtube.com gives me an even faster response (11MS) so what the fuck?!?!
Doesn't matter what browser I use either, be it chrome, firefox or IE...
And 10 jumps to youtube.com so ace routing as said before.

Happens to me all the time with Youtube. Then I refresh the page and sometimes it will load fine. Also I noticed that they have recently made it so it wont download the whole video if you pause it, and it only downloads a small section instead.

I thought google taking over Youtube and adding commercials would improve the speed on Youtube...but apparently I was wrong.
Using 100/100 I get the same problem as the rest of you. Really shitty.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

Oh, and I thought that it was only my crappy connection, because videos on 360p used to load relatively normal before, and now it's so slow, it automatically shifts the video to 240p -.-" And I have to manually set it to 360p -.-

Try changing video quality. Sometimes it takes ages for some newer vids to load, say 360/480p but then 1080p load superfast.
Guess their ability to spread data to clouds is going bad.

my Nforce got DERP ????!!
guess internet made you DERPY
here is why YT is now slow
You are in a trial for HTML5 video on YouTube. Some users of supported browsers are automatically entered in to the trial. If you wish to leave the trial, use the link at the bottom. HTML5 is a new browser technology that allows us to show videos without the Flash plugin.
Your comments will help us improve and perfect the mixtures we're working on. So jump in, play around, and send your feedback directly to the brains behind the scenes.
Supported Browsers
We support browsers that support both the video tag in HTML5 and either the h.264 video codec or the WebM format (with VP8 codec). These include:
Firefox 4 (WebM, Available here)
Google Chrome (WebM)
Opera 10.6+ (WebM, Available here)
Apple Safari (h.264, version 4+)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 (h.264, Available here, WebM support avaliable here)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8 with Google Chrome Frame installed (Get Google Chrome Frame)
Notes
Fullscreen support is partially implemented. Pressing the fullscreen button will expand the player to fill your browser. If your browser supports a fullscreen option, you can then use that to truly fill the screen
If you want to find videos with WebM formats available, you can use the Advanced Search options to look for them (or just add &webm=1 to any search URL)
Additional Restrictions (we are working on these!)
Videos with ads are not supported (they will play in the Flash player)
On Firefox and Opera, only videos with WebM transcodes will play in HTML5
If you've opted in to other testtube experiments, you may not get the HTML5 player (Feather is supported, though)

I opted in for the HTML5 trial a while ago but that made things worse so I opted out.

Trying to watch a vid right now on YT. It's a 3 minute video, I chose 720p, the vid has been loading for 5 fucking minutes now and still not loaded and whenever I play it, even though it's loaded to a point, it freezes every few dozen seconds >.<
