Robotoki has announced its first project called Human Element - a survival game set in a zombie apocalypse future and scheduled for release on the PC and next-gen consoles in 2015. The game will allow players to choose from three distinctive character classes - action, stealth and intelligence, - thereby allowing for three different proportionate experiences and identities - survive by your own, survive with a young child or survive with a partner.
Human Element, the first game from former Call of Duty developer Robert Bowling, is changing business models. The survival game has dropped free-to-play in favor of a paid, premium experience.
Bowling, who heads up Los Angeles-based studio Robotoki, explained in a new interview that the company has ended its publishing deal with free-to-play behemoth Nexon. As a result, Robotoki laid off a number of staff, though it is unclear how deep the cuts were.
"As the game evolved we realized that the elements that make Human Element the most fun would be hindered by keeping it a free-to-play experience," Bowling told Gamasutra. "Therefore, we made the decision to switch to a premium experience for our players; which also meant that working with the premier publisher in free-to-play was no longer the best partnership fit for the game we were creating."
Bowling worked at Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward from 2006-2012 as the studio's "creative strategist," contributing to huge games like 2007's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. He quit in March 2012, and established Robotoki later that year.
Though Nexon is out for Human Element, Bowling said Robotoki has already lined up a new publishing partner for the game, and expects to make a formal announcement in December. The game is aiming to launch in November 2015 on PC.
I am wondering if playing with a partner means that you can get a girl for partner and sell her for sexual services and get easy money.
Well, I am pretty sure the child would earn more profit in this aspect but the devs defo won't allow such feature so people have to do with the girl :\
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"
It should be illegal to sell games with this mocked up BS game-play to scam in customers..
The game comes out in almost a year (November 2015). There will be in game trailers. Chill.

Robert Bowling’s development studio Robotoki has shut it’s doors and its apocalyptic survival game is now “on hiatus.”
Joystiq confirmed the news via a statement from Bowling.
“This week we have ceased operations at Robotoki and the development of Human Element is on hiatus,” Bowling stated. “We were actively negotiating a new publishing deal for the premium version of Human Element but unfortunately I was unable to continue to self-fund development until a deal was finalized.”
Set 35 years after a zombie apocalypse, the first-person game was said to combine action, strategy and resource management through a myriad of survival scenarios.
It was being developed using CryEngine technology and was slated for a November 2015 release on PC . At one times it was a free-to-play title to be published by Nexon.
Robotoki and Nexon dissolved the partnership and the game was switched to a premium product which resulted in the studio being forced to lay off some staff members.
Bowling said at the time that as development progressed, the studio decided the a free-to-play experience would cut some of “the most fun” elements of the game.
Nexon America said the parting was a “mutual decision” due to Human Element no longer aligning with the publisher’s free-to-play portfolio.
A new publisher for Human Element was supposed to be announced back in December.
