HTC One X without the included Beats by Dre headset? Can anyone with this device tell me if the difference in price is justifiable? A friend of mine wants to get an Xperia Z and made me an offer to buy his current black, 32 gigs One X which looks perfect BUT without the headset. And he dropped the price for something around 100 euros, which means it's cheaper than a new SGS2.

The beats headphones are really nice for something you get with a phone, but there are still other, cheaper and better quality, ones out there.
€100,- discount for not getting the headphones is a nice deal, they are around that price.
(if it's the actual headphones and not the in ears one, then he should put another €50,- ontop of that discount, because those a more expensive)

Still the actual earphones are quite good compared what you usual get with phones.
I had the original Sensation ones and get send a new, beats, one via elevate. The difference between both are insane.
But like i said, there are prolly better ones out there for alot cheaper.

I already have a pair or Razer Moray which I use with my current phone and to be honest, I wouldn't replace them any time soon. The headset he has right now are the ones which are in-ear, which come packaged with the phone. This means he sells the phone for 300 euros. Considering I wanted to get a Nexus 4 but there is no way for me to get it without having someone in Germany to buy it for me, the price here for the Nexus 4 is inflated by taxes a lot, it sells for ~520 euros. What I'm trying to get at is if the price without those is correct, it seems way too small for such a great phone and I'm a little skeptic the phone might be damaged in some way, even though I played around with it for a while and it didn't seem to be.

Hehe, the Nexus 4 is even more expensive here then at your country, so be happy Razz
But yeah, the in ear are around €90,- retail price.
The One X here, new, costs €438,95, so you getting the phone for €300,- is a really nice deal.

I'll buy it, it seems fast enough and the screen is the best I've seen thus far (haven't had my hands on any of the 1080p phones) on an Android device. It also looks impeccable, he's had it for somewhere around 4 months and kept it in a silicon case + a screen protector. Seems like a deal, toyed around with it all day and I haven't found any game which runs with hiccups...apart from NFSMW. Also, there's Tegrazone.

Awesome, thanks! And yeah, I wanna keep Sense, this new version seems really awesome. Also, integration with FB, so there's no need to put custom pictures for every phone number at a time.

And with Sense 4.0 (and 4.5 now) they made massive improvements with performance of it, so it's not longer a burden to have it (ofc AOSP and AOKP are still abit faster Razz)

I'm really tired of AOSP, had a Nexus S for some time now and while the interface is beautiful, I always wanted to see how Sense behaves in every day use.

Thanks, I guess, but I got this and I'm pretty happy with it. Also, I've wanted Sense for a while now since I got tired of AOSP, which was present on my previous Nexus S or Nexus.
