theres a new video out that shows off a freaking new awesome feature..its at the end of the video though, check it out..its something rpg fans gonna like alot..dont wanna spoil it but its something how (fable) has...so go check it out yourself

The game looks nice, graphics-wise at least. I still think it's gonna focus too much on combat, the "story elements" Chris mentioned look pretty weak to me. I loved that you can feed your summoned pet and make it grow and stuff, that looks awesome.
Also, the "power" system is ripped straight off Diablo 2.

haha i never tired that i rather use melle..thats where the action is at ..and for the story ..thats just a sample i suppose he talked about..hopefully theres a ton of interactive quests and al..and ofcourse they needed that skill system..nothing wrong with taking it from diablo2 hehe..thats a good thing. and i cant wait to get my pet lol that looked soo damn kool feeding him and watch him grow.

Yeah I agree, single was no fun for me, never finished that game. But multi was quite nice. Still I hope the second one will have more interesting single player mode. |

Single was super boring. The story was heavily lacking, and archers were NERFED! The game is still based on the first engine which kind of bugs me, but lets see what they can do.

The game was also way too long... it was something like 25 hours from beggining to end, which is way too much for what is possibly the most simple game since Pong. They should either make it considerably shorter, or add a fuckload of new locations, creatures, and quests.
I just see the enormous potential in the engine, but I'm not sure it will be realised.

DS had as much story as a Bazooka Joe comic. The graphics were nice and the gameplay decent. As far as I see all they need to do is actually add this and a sense of setting and it should be worth playing. Oh, and more of those fun goblin weapons.
Almost forgot. This game and Guild Wars needs to tone down archers! I swear in both games melee damage was easy to deal with but once you get an archer unit or two hitting you your life went down faster then a working girl when the rent is due.
