Yep, probably time to upgrade the pc soon. Getting a nice chair, better desk, etc.
M$ and phony are not going to come with a new generation for many years! Gfx has already peaked, fucking x360 having not new components in it when released back in 2005.
This game looks almost too good to be missed in its entierty.
PlayStation 3 is really just hitting its stride. And technologically, I don’t think it’s possible to provide any advancement beyond what we have....So, I wouldn’t look for any discussion of a next generation PlayStation for quite some time.
It's your word against the CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment America
The PS3 has a GeForce 7800, there just isn't anything more advanced than that. Period.
...and the GeForce 7800 is backed by Cell, the most advanced CPU out there.
..........and Sony never lies. They promised 1080p on PS3 and they delivered. All PS3 games except BF3 run at 1080p. I know that for a fact because I set my PS3 to 1080p in the settings. Dice just can't code properly, they're Xbox fanboys.
Spoiler:
You should check your sarcasm detector, it seems to be broken
What about the controls?, I'm more intrested in that than the graphics, I hope there better than bad company's crap sluggish controls, A better engine won't be any good unless controls are more responsive and smoother.
You get what you pay for, and i am more than willing to take a graphics hit and pay 4 times less for a PS3 than a PC.
In these times of economic hardships, the pc market will take the biggest hit by far, people are upgrading their pc´s less and less frequently... in a few years we wont even be having this kind of discussion, games simply wont come out on PC, and we will be left comparing xbox with PS graphics.

Are you kidding me? hahaha You have no idea lol.
And most PC games are 30/40euro and most ps3/360 games are 60/70euro's
But discussing things like this with people that have no clue wtf they are talking about is not worth my time ^_~

Do you buy most of your pc games? if you do, then be my guest and point out which recent AAA release on pc was between 30 and 40 euros, if you (like the rest of us) pirate most of the releases, then fuck off with your argument.

Playing in FPS with gamepad is retarded. Well, it's a progress because you agreed the game looks much worse than PC version. Not all is lost
/discussion
Agreed. For exemple, i dont think the console port of the Witcher 2 could even be remotely compared to the pc version, it's probably the best looking game i have played on pc... ever.
But the core of my argument is that we cant even begin to compare, without taking to account the price diference between both platforms. I think this difference and the substancialy minor impact of piracy on consoles, will lead to a smaller and smaller pc market, people these days just dont have the money to invest in high end pc's and developers dont have the money to invest in pc versions that dont sell a fraction of the console version.
