Can't believe people today still are able to say today's GNR is better than today Slash's live band
Axl voice is so weak - he cannot sing a full line without gasping for air. Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge and Slash's vocalist) is so great that it's just incredible. Can't believe he is already over 40 years old.
@Spykez - the top hat was stolen by Slash in his youth. He just put it on his head and walked out looking very natural in it Later on he put a concho belt on it and it stayed that way till it was stolen. Then Slash bought new ones, those were stolen as well etc etc
There is some justice there - Slash was quite the cleptomaniac. He used to wrap a live snake around his arm (under the sleeves) and walk out of a pet store
Oh and the top hat never falls off when playing live most probably it's attached with some kind of strings on both sides around the ears
I respect him for rocking out and not pussing out. The last god of guitar and i saw him in the shithole of Europe Good thing that there is still some good music out there and it's not "gimme the 60's-70's-80's-early 90's!" all the time
EDIT : Also - another thing i admire in Slash that his collaboration with guitar equipment always end up in creating some maybe overpriced but great gear that really kicks ass. And not just - "throw my name in it for a million bucks".
