I got the WinNT folder on my C:\ that consumes 1.4 gigs of space, I recently uninstalled a 2nd Windows XP installation by changing the Boot InI file and i Think it have something to do with that folder... The Problem is that it isnt typical for that folder to be on the C:\ (checked it on 2 pcs with XP on and they didnt had it)

So what do I do? I want to have some space free on that bloody C:\
Sad

Windows XP installs in one of 2 folder names "WinNT" or "Windows". If you have a previous version of windows installed then the installation will place a new version in the other folder name; this is why you have it.

Check your boot INI, the windows your currently using should point to one of the 2 folders, if you are not using the other simply delete the folder and remove it from the boot INI. The only issue with this is that a whole lot of gear on your HDD could be linked to this installation, I would consider a total reformat, but thats just because I like to reformat things Smile!

Let me know if you need anything else dude.
