Ubisoft has announced Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, which introduces a new coarse heir to the century-spanning action series. As you can gather from the artwork, the sequel shifts to the Caribbean in an era of piracy and formidable pistol-to-hand ratios. The game is so far confirmed for PS3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii U, with the PS3 version including "60 minutes of exclusive gameplay."
Trailer but they appear to being removed so not sure how long it will last!

thats the new name of Xbox next console ? because naming a xbox networking service as one of the platform is stupid OR ... it will be available for new xbox only as a Digital game ?
So far for it being a 2014 game like previously said.
Looks interesting though, wonder if they will replace Desmond in this one also.
Or if they just stick to a ancestor and skip the whole back story.
In addition to souped up graphics and physics, the next-generation versions of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will feature various "connected features," according to creative director Jean Guesdon (via CVG). The nature of these features remains vague.
The PlayStation 4 version of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is the only announced next-generation version thus far. Ubisoft has teased the game will release on "other" next-gen platforms, suggesting the title will come to Microsoft's still unannounced Xbox 720.
