Finding Paradise will be much like its predecessor, telling “a standalone story following two doctors as they traverse a dying patient's memories to artificially fulfill their last wish.” The patient this time is Colin, the now-grown boy from A Bird Story, although Gao emphasized that this is a standalone story, so playing either of the previous games won't be required to enjoy (or make sense of) the sequel.
To The Moon developer Freebird Games has released the reveal trailer for its spiritual sequel A Bird Story. The game takes place in the same world as the studio’s original game.
Although it’s a sequel, the timeline of events takes place before To The Moon. The developer’s blog says it’s a “Simple, surreal short about a boy and a bird with a broken wing. Despite being story-based like most of my games, there are essentially no dialogues throughout.”
I played it after having read some very positive comments here, and was not disappointed. Brilliant game (although it's more like an "experience" since the gameplay is very basic indeed ).
idrisguitar is right though, this is just a prequel of the sequel, still interesting
I didn't "get" the first one. I mean yeah it had some moments and there was some amazing use of music there but the gameplay was terrible and I though the story tried too hard and fell a bit flat.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

I just played it (big thanks to Demde and his magic). The story and art style as usual are incredibly charming, with lots of good feels, but the "spin-off" nature is noticeable since it's a very short experience overall. Took me less than one hour to see the final scene.
For the proper sequel, we'll need to wait..until it's done.
I am big fan of To The Moon, but Bird Story is boring and predictable. It's short, music is not that good (but still good), story is not that deep, and emotional like in TTM.
This game is overhyped because of amazing previous game from Freebird Games.
I might be more helpful, and less annoying, if all the updates would be collected on an external site or in a sticky thread here.
And if gets updated, it gets updated

Ok, this wasn't nearly as good as To the Moon (regardless of length). At least it had some funny moments like the Benny hill chase sequence and also some nostalgia value. Great music though.

The best inception game OUT there ... part 1 showed all of this was ALL a lie ... a dream ...and that the male doctor is trapped by his own will in a dream universe ... to be with a person he loves (that female doctor) ... he made her believe she is in a real world helping others
