Hi guys!
I have a problem enabling crossfire...
I had one Gigabyte HD 5770 and now added one more Saphire HD 5770.
Its hoocked as should with bridge and everything.
I can see both cards in GPU z with correct PCIe speed.i can see both cards
in device manager and AMD driver see both of them. But in crossfire tab
in driver enble option is gray.i cant use it.and there is a message about
linking connections problem or something.
Im sure both cards are fine, bridge is fine and my system is:
Gigabyte ga-h77-d3h rev. 2
Intel i5-3570k
8Gb corsair DDR3 1600Mhz
Asus pci sound card
WD standart HDD
Thermaltake 500W psu
Im using latest 13.2 beta 7 driver and windows 8x64
after adding second card i did not format windows just installed driver using
driver sweeper before in safe mode.
Check cards 1by1 in both slots at a time, check with another bridge ..
That's the only options i can think of right now to see if one isn't actually defect (or maybe a slot isn't working properly on the mobo).
But it sounds more like there is a problem with the bridge?
Plus the PSU is rather low for crossfire and the rest you got. Maybe that's another issue.
