|
 |
By: 2K Games, Firaxis Games
Genre: Business Strategy
Release Date: Oct 16, 2006
Code: | The Golden Age of railroading is back with Sid Meier's Railroads! Combining the best of real-world and model railroads, Sid Meier's Railroads! puts you in charge of building your own railroad empire, running everything from steam-powered locomotives to more modern diesel and electric trains, managing cargo and your bottom line, all while engaging in corporate warfare against rival tycoons, slick entrepreneurs and robber barons.
Cities and industries grow up around you as Sid Meier's Railroads! enables players to lay track and route trains, haul raw materials to market and carry manufactured goods throughout the land. Sid Meier's Railroads! introduces a large number of different single-player game scenarios and a variety of play modes including the "sand-box" modeling mode, real-time LAN and Internet play. |

I wish they would release a game like this with proper perspective. It just seems so kiddy to be having trains ten times the size of huge factories. A-Train did this superbly nearly 20 years ago, can't think of anything as good or similar since.

especially when the mod comes out that will allow you to use a station and its entrance exit points at it fullest by not making uses of stoplights (hard to explain)

That game so needs the Settlers 2 NG treatment. I still play TTD occasionally.

Its not officially released until tommorrow. Maybe they just haven't gotten ahold of it.
Not every game is gotten early by them.
