So I'm going through the whole series here on netflix, haven't seen them since I was little. Writing is so damn inconsistent with how "Macyver met Pete Thornton"

First they met when the Lab was blown up in the 3rd sub lvl and was leaking acid. Mac gets to the location and Pete introduces himself and asks if Mac was the professional he was waiting on.

Then in some other episode Macgyver and Pete are laughing by a gal and she asks what's funny and they go on about how the first time Mac and Pete first met in some middle east or something and camels were involved.

Now I just watch a flash back episode where Mac was borrowing his friend's "Jack", taxi, and thought some girl was being mugged by "Pete" who he obviously didn't know each other at the time and Macgyver tackled him.

maybe the lab was located in the middle east and it was run by clumsy exploding camels.

but that doesn't explain Mac's "first encounter" when Pete was after Murdoc

the flashback?

was it macs flashback? the amount of exlosions that guys been through, the toxic fumes hes enhaled, not to mention the drug use... you can't blame the guy for having memory issues and confusing fact with fantasy.

the guy thinks he can hack a computer with chewing gum, bubble wrap, a rubber band and a blade of grass... you cant tell me theres no mental instability there. in fact, come to think about it... doesnt the entire show make MORE sense to think hes actually in a coma and hes dreaming all these wacky solutions up and somehow they always seem to work?

Could be intentional. Mcgyuver was never a show that took itself seriously. I mean the man makes a timed bomb with a camera and c4, and battles some big arse ant colonies... Laughing Laughing It's just as inconsistent as A-Team.

That was the pilot episode, to pitch the show. They changed a lot of things afterwards so it's not exactly 'canon' (Mac's using a GUN in that ep, after all Laughing).

Oh this is getting annoying. They re-use a lot of characters from past episodes so when they come together in a newer episode im all like ooo I wonder what he's going to say to see they're alive and no...it's all like OMG Who ARE YOU

Aren't they same actors but different characters? I remember Vernon Wells quite well, I think he played 2 or even 3 different characters. He was of course Bennett in Commando and Wez in Road Warrior, which makes him a lot more recognizable than the usual guest actors.

See if you can spot Teal'c (Christopher Judge) and general Hammond (Don S. Davis) in the later seasons btw. Very Happy

Ya same actors but different characters. It gets annoying since 2 episodes recently the person dies, then all a sudden they're a complete different person.
