Surprisingly good list, though. Awesome, even.
I'd only have added Commandos to it, to have more diversity in genres.
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.
Truly gone fishing.

Yeah, surprisingly decent BUT
Half Life 2 over Half Life 1
Quest for Glory 1 over Quest for Glory 4
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Well call me surprised, it's not as ridiculous as I expect these to be. I'd call it even decent for people who haven't really played these games but want to be hipster about it!.

Nolf was a good game, but putting it on a list besides doom, or planescape torment? 
And what about wing commander? Heretic? Dune 1? Alone in the dark 1? Laser Squad? Prince of Persia1? Leisure suit larry? Bioforge? Mechwarrior? Times of Lore? eye of the beholder? civilization 1? crusader no remorse? Red baron? another world?
Good List... but i could go on forever with real classics..

yep missing wing commander on that list (would say 3). nolf is a fucking fantastic game, and highly underrated by many people. and ofc yes such titles like dune, pop, bioforge, crusader, another world and ofc red baron could be on such list. but its very hard to steam down to 24 titles. personal interested matters

Yes, Prince of Persia instead of Noone LFE and Warcraft 2 instead of 3.
