I got an email this morning from MrModchips telling of a solderless modchip for ps2 called DMS4 EZI PRO. Fifty quid seems a lot of money though . Heres the link if anyone wishes to take a look:

The installation doesnt exactly look that simple either at first glance :

Shame they didnt bring it out a couple of years ago.

I received and fitted mine on tuesday. Once i'd gotten past the fortress of metal that sony used in the case of the ps2, the install was simple. As long as the clips are flat up against the motherboard once you connect them, you shouldn't have a problem. Very nice chip, worth the money if you can't solder.

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

Mine should arrive tomorrow or tuesday, I hope that everything will go alright. Having a v9, I should do the romeo fix but it involves the soldering of a wire Crying or Very sad

Hmm, looks great for people who don't know how to solder. Only bad thing is the price.
