I have notice latley that when I put my computer on standby and than try to bring it back the sys restarts, pain in the ass.

I haven't done nothing new to the sys or anything,

Is my PSU failing or could it be a HDD?

Could be your mainboard that needs It's bios upgraded. Has this happened before?

I'm pretty sure my bios is up to date...it worked perfectly until a couple of weeks ago.

I wonder if some dam windows updates screwed something

Ok... Are you running SP2? Maybe the problems started with it. I've heard about similar problems with SP2 but that was with laptops...

Did you install or update some drivers? It could also be your PSU, maybe it can't deliver enough power for standby anymore

I am pretty sure I have everything up to date but I'll have to check and see

one thing I did notice though...I have 2 HDD and it seem that when I hit ESC to come out of Standby I can hear the first drive make wrrrr sound than after that the second drive trys to come back but something happens & it restarts.

I'm thinking it might be the PSU, mabey I should unhook something to see if it has a lesser load on my PSU or something.
