hi, i just got hl2, the emporio`s repacked version, and played a while. it runs quite nice despite my system is weak. the problem that i have is following
while playing, it is nice and no prob, but when i turn on the flashlight, walls flash, all object flicker, i can see through them and its messy, even if i turn off the flashlight. i have to restart the game and its running nice until next flashlight. is it problem with the relase or with system specs? i`ve got gf2mx400 w 64mb

Have you applied all the 10 updates? If you don't, do that and see if the problem persists. Try upgrading your video drivers too.
