Well it's a nice card and I'm sure you will be happy with it.
You know EVGA offer a Step Up program where you can trade in a card to them within 90 days of purchase and pay the extra for a newer card? The original card can be bought from any approved retailer.
So if you wanted to you could return the Gigabyte, buy EVGA and then upgrade when the new cards are released.

Huh? That's about what me and my GF pay per month for food, and we don't eat "luxuriously". |
That's how much I spend on food in half a year, and that's a pessimistic estimate |
Neon wrote: | Wtf, 450 euros for a month
I still live with my parents, so 3 people overall, and we spend ~400 pln (96 euros, 125 dollars) a month.
And it's not like we're poor either Just don't need to spend more. |
WTF do you eat? Noodles?
What we eat per day each (let's take today as an example):
Breakfast: Cereal + ham sammich or similar
Lunch: Sausages and pasta and ketchup
Dinner: 150g burger
Supper: 2 hard bread sammiches + cheese and tea
Once or twice a month we go out and eat dinner, that usually goes for €20-25.
Take that times 30 days/month, and €450 is about €3,75 per portion (for two people) of food on average (€1,87 each).
€450 in six months? That's €0,625/portion if you eat four times a day.
Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

Don't really count how much money I spend on food, I have no idea. But I would say it's around 150$.

Yea I was shopping around for a second GTX 680 the past few weeks but after I heard the news about the GTX 700 series I decided to wait. Not because I want the GTX 700 series, but because right after the 700 series is out, GTX 680 resale market is going to dip rapidly. So the first 2 weeks when the 700 is out, will be the best time to buy a GTX 680. After the first 2-4 weeks, the prices will rise a bit before stabilizing

771 EUR is an AVERAGE salary in Poland, but the majority of the workers here earn about 480 EUR a month.
Now granted that 1 liter of milk costs about 0.73 EUR and a loaf of bread around 0.84 EUR up to 1.3 EUR, but still.

Bottom tier is ~180 euros.
About 300 euros for rent + utilities, I live with someone else. I also do lots of stuff on the side and that amounts to another 200-300 euros, depending on the month. Also, my main salary is above average.

That sounds like a pretty low price for 2 people. Where do the vegetables come from? Spain?

Well, you could have bought a cheaper one. I really don't understand ppl who waste so much money on PC parts. 'I'm a gamer hurr durr' -.-"
You can game with some little details off, it won't kill the experience (mostly because games are shit these days anyway).
Unless you need new gpu's, processors etc. for professional use, everything else is a waste of money imo. And if you don't have the money to waste, than you're... well I won't say it, but we all know what I mean
I haven't upgraded my comp in 3 yrs (I bought 4GB of memory 2 months ago, but that's it, and that was really cheap), and when I want to play a new game, I just set everything to medium or so, and play.
The next thing that I should invest is monitor (because of work), and a new gpu (work). cpu can wait, but if I find a decent job after I finish uni, I could invest in a new PC...
