I just picked up a steelseries sensei mouse..so far its seems rather good. But have one issue..that my last mouse had.

The left click takes about 1/2 as much pressure to click as the right. Are all mice made like this now? or do I just keep getting defective mice.

My rightclick has a definite but reasonable pressure needed to 'click' it. The left is just a hair more pressure than my finger resting on the button itself. Driving me crazy..Anyone else have one of these notice this?
Im assuming its normal, and some sort of fps/gaming 'easy fire' gimmick..but it sucks.
I think the main reason it bother me is that it feels like my old mice when the click started to wear out, it kept getting easier and easier to click. So it feel like my new mouses leftclick is already 'going out'.
What happened to people making mice where both buttons clicked the same Sad I miss my MX518 6 years later and the clicks was still firm and equal for both buttons Very Happy

No one has any experience with mice being made this way? Sad

Nope, haven't had that happen on any of my later mice (Naos 5k, Logitech g9x, G500 or Func MS-3).

This, and I'm still using the 6 year old MX518 Laughing actually I think it's 8 years old!

Never heard of different click pressures, I'd say it is defective...

Well that sucks..
I mean it clicks fine, has a very defined 'click', just like i said its about 1/2 as easy to click as the right..

This is my 5th mouse in a year.
I went from my trusty mx518, to a mx1100, to a g700, a cyborg rat 5, to this expensive thing..getting tired of spending money on mice that suck...

Time to spend MORE money on a mouse I guess. I could do the RMA thing, but never had the motivation to go thru the hassle of the paperwork, mailing off, waiting, etc for any PC part under $100...

So now I will have another like new mouse tossed into my "spare PC parts" bin Sad

Well, one set of mice I can truly recommend is the naos series mice. For the ergonomic and buildquality they are top-notch, the software however....not so much.

Not having that problem here with my Sensei, i actually need to apply quite some pressure to click, left and right are the same.
Maybe you got a defective one?

Seriously, I have the WORST luck with mice. Mines so easy to click saus, that I can barely push on the button way up near the led light for the profile button..and it still clicks.

I just need to find someone with a backstock of mx518's and buy a bushel of them. Sad
