Can someone recommend a flatbed scanner for ~$100-$150 that is good for scanning old photos for fixing in Photoshop? Scanning old negatives is a bonus and not important. The important thing is to get a good scanner in that price range. I ordered the Epson Perfection v33 but the order was annulled because it had sold out and the only two other places (pro-photo stores) take outrageous prices.
A4 format, 4800dpi, good colour reproduction etc..
(currently reading about the CanoScan 9000F)

But it's $226 here, twice the budget, and while the reviews give it 9/10 in average the film scanning feature isn't good.
