It was a bit lame actually. But the new Doctor is pretty good, he was fantastic in casanova so i'm expecting great things.

It is funny, I've been recommended to watch this series several times. "It's good", and I never really bothered, because the concept just did not appeal to me, at all. And "british" tends to be "dull" in my opinion, well in general - there are exceptions. (sorry brits)

Well now tonight someone told me that I should take care of my lack of watching Dr. Who and said:

"The first episode you need to watch is the episode called 'Blink', it is from 2007, season 3, episode 10 - seriously, watch that and determine if this series is for you"

So, I started watching. And I really struggled to keep my attention to it. It seemed... well, again... british, dull. And then somewhere in the middle, it hits you like a sledgehammer and I am immersed. And for the first time in a very, very long time, I am "creeped out" from a fictious story. Seriously, I've watched a lot of movies that supposedly should be "creepy", and this got to me, in a good way.

So now, I think I'll be watching more. Because this piqued my curiosity.

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

That's definitely a good episode, I've been watching this show since it came out and I still remember "Blink" very well.

This actually applies to almost any episode written by Steven Moffat

For example double episode "The Empty Child" & "The Doctor Dances" from 2006 is fucking amazing and uber creepy (and introduces captain Harkness as well)

blink is one of the best episodes Wink

Many loved Tennant as the doctor, and I'll admit that he will always hold a special place in my heart but Matt Smith as the doctor has some amazing episodes as well.

For me the series really picked up when Matt Smith came along. He has some amazing episodes.
