Not much information, only the name and that it's been in development since 2010. Gonna have to wait and see more stuff.
I'm really worried about this "russian" partnership, really weird.

Instead of focusing on F: NV2 (or any other game of the Fallout universe, for that matter), Obsidian've decided to waste their time away on irrelevant MMO's. I Am Disappoint

I was more interested in their other games, in the vein of NWN2:MOTB - man I won't forget that game till I die. Same with KotOR 2.

I always thought Obsidian was a small-ish studio, it seems like they have way too many projects right now.

Why the rage? If Obsidian is really developing the majority of this game, I expect it to be decent, unlike 99% of the other MMOs.

Might be interesting, allods online might not be the best game, but its still one of the best F2P mmo´s out there. That game has amazing art style at times, especially on armors (they sure have copied WoW shitloads Very Happy). It also has pretty nice PVE raiding content aswell.

My guess would be that, while it may have a great story with plottwists and/or many decisions it will rely on gameplay and combat mechanics that are older than time (and make it another "Meh..MoRPG")

but hey,i do not know anything and might get surprised Reaction

Technically, as long as direction over the project is at Obsidian, including combat design, I don't mind. What I do mind is them spending development time on this instead of on games that we yearn for, like Alpha Protocol 2 ffs!!!1!one!

They've expanded the studio as far as I know, but yeah, that is true. Not that developing a MMO nowadays is particularly hard since they're all the same Cool Face ; still, it really looks like they're avoiding our demands on purpose.

New Vegas 2, Kotor3, Alpha Protocol 2? Nope, better develop a generic MMO with an unknown Russian company! Razz I hope at least they use the money generated from this to make some serious games.

Well, while I'm not all that happy they're working on an MMO (even though they might make something good out of it, we'll see), it's also worth noting that most of the sequels we would really like to see are kinda beyond their reach because of IP rights, licensing and so on - with the exception of Alpha Protocol 2 (which is probably a bit problematic on it's own, because despite of a certain cult following it gathered, it wasn't a very succesfull IP).

I seem to recall an interview with... Avellone, I think it was, where he clearly stated they would be quite open to the possibility of an NV sequel. Considering the fact, that Beth's probably already working on F4, though, it's probably not gonna happen at least until it's out, if at all.

And Kotor... we'll, it's even more complicated right now, due to Lucas Arts demise and EA holding a license for all future SW games.

Still, I would like to know what's the other big project they're working on, one that was mentioned a couple of times here and there. Because I really hope it's not this. That would be a huge dissapointment, to say the least.

Because it's totally their choice if/when they get to do another Fallout?

I'd like to know who exactly from Obsidian are involved in this.
