I don't have one, but two of these guys. Also, one of them gets offended when someone doesn't answer to his good mornings. Bitch, I'm tired as fuck, and I just want to smoke a cigarette while sipping on some coffee before work starts, I don't need your whatever accent bothering me up when you follow me to the balcony and say hi 15 times. He also does this with everyone. The other guy is a tad awkward, probably doesn't have any friends and means well, just wants some conversation. But the other guy...that other guy...

Now I have no such issues anymore.
How? I listen to audiobooks in one ear and turn off my other ear unless it's work related. The idiots understood my drift eventually and no longer pesters me. Of course they probably dislike me now but I couldn't care any fucking less.
Do yourself a favor and do the same thing if you can (don't know if you're allowed to use headphones at your job). I recommend the "A Song of Ice and Fire" (game of thrones) books, Ready Player One (Virtual Reality, as a gamer you will LOVE IT, TRUST ME) and The End of Eternity as a great Sci-Fi book. |
Thankfully im free to use it, everyone complains here because they call me out and i dont listen, i just tell them to email me or call me,
Coincidentally im listening to the first book of game of thrones and its been a blast, i keep re imagining the tale in my mind with the tv show characters etc, ahhh, so nice.
Reading is one thing, but talking continiously, im amazed, people should notice when they are rambling non stop for 20 minutes.

Hi, I see you haven't had the pleasure of reading any of my posts yet...I'm DXWarlock here on the forums. |
No way sir! If with 'talking shit' you mean 'making valid points and conducting interesting rational discussions' then I agree

these people can be fun if you have some patience. knowing that they will just keep talking and talking, you can make them say just about anything. its usually quite easy to make them run in circles disagreeing with themselves or contradicting the things they previously said. they usually really like this, because its more opportunity to hear themselves talk, and they are rarely smart enough to catch on to what you are doing.

+1 on that, big time. In fact, I've yet to read a single bad post from DXWarlock! |
Haha, didn't expect that.
Im usually assuming when I post people will look at new posts list and go "Ahh damn it, its him that replied..big wall of rambling over explanatory text, here I come!"
At least you only have to read it here by choice. I feel bad for my kids sometimes.
When they get in trouble with me, or did something wrong....its 30 minutes of zoning out while i explain why it was wrong, how it was wrong, why they shouldn't do it, me asking them to explain in detail the process that made them think of WHY to do that so I understand what made them..THEN explain why that was wrong too...
I think my kids don't do wrong because they are scared of getting in trouble, they don't because they are scared of have to stand there, staring off in to space drooling, while listen to me go on and on and on..
