|
 |
Maybe i sound like a noob here, but im having trouble with Steam-Down.
I have the Vengeance version of HL2 and it works fine for single player, and i dont care about online play. I want to play Garry's Mod, a very cool mod which was one of the reasons i wanted HL2.
After Installing both Half Life 2 and Garrys Mod v7a, I got Steam-Down so i could play Garrys Mod. Upon opening Steam-Down, i saw that Garrys Mod appeared under 3rd party games. This was a good thing. But under My Games, where HL2 is, the Half Life 2 text is dimmed, which means that Steam-down doesnt think i have HL2 intalled, But I Do!
If someone could tell me either how to get Steam-Down to see Half Life 2, or even a way to use Garry's Mod without Steam-Down, that would be sweet.

Never mind, i fixed it... sort of.
I got it to see HL2, but now the "Steam servers are too busy to handle your request" error keeps coming.
