needs mini image to run once installed but the full images can be burned

damn....not working here.....i did all what it said in the .nfo. Even cleared and reinstalled starforce drivers....
still got error

Click on Patch Blacklist.
Click the Protection 3.4.49.xxx
Link Gen.
- Protection 3.4.49.xxx
-Daemon tools
Browse the exe
Browse the Mini Image.
Close App.
Launch shortcut
( if it doesnt work from the first time, mabye try a couple of times. )

here is how it works:
install the game from the images
reboot to activate SF drivers
start Sarforce NIGHTMARE not starf**k or anything else
press "disable CD" button
wait till it has finished
press "disable nodes" button
mount the mini image NOT the full image
run the game
enter Key
If it fails to start look in your registry for "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SBDT AB\GTR\SF Keys"
and delete all entries for "Hardware_Profile0001", "Hardware_Profile0002"
etc

Some have to do a 3rd thing that the nfo dont mention.
Try disabling the channel your cdrom uses also.
And by disabling I mean by using the same program, NOT by disconnecting your cables.
This made it work for me, disable cd and disable node was simple not enough for me.
So to sum it up.
1. disable CD
2. Disable node
3. Disable cdrom channel (if you have the cdrom on your second channel it's either "SC.Master OFF" or "SC.Slave OFF"). You have to find out yourself which channel it's on.

What a dumb release...i got the clone of this game a month and a half ago...and it was a english DVD.

Yeah right, the OFFICIAL English version of this game was not out until March 11th 2005. What you probably got was German version with some translation patch...

GTR won't be released on DVD and the official English release was a few days ago.
Anyway, starforce nightmare works, yet it still gives an error about the cdkey. MI mounted with A120, cd disabled, primary master disabled, nodes disabled, correct cdkey, but no GTR...

Thats probably right...but it still the same release in english.

Personally, I am waiting for a clone of Psi-ops and Second sight .. especially the first one got very good reviews for console and if they hadnt fucked it for PC it should be a great game.
