I also prefer cracked versions so i'm willing to wait a little longer if hoodlum and/or reloaded are waiting for the update to crack the game.

Anyone else *slightly* noticing this assassine behaviour of releasing a patch just after or during the release of a PC Game? Am I not the only one disturbed by such stupidity? Makes me wonder if these game dev/pubs are acting like d*cks just to spite the "scene" community? All the more disturbing is the fact the community isn't cracking updates as much as it used to *cough* Act of War v1.04 *cough*.. Dunno what gives?!? Hope things someday return to normal

Think this way, If you release a game and wait for it to get cracked then release a patch that fixes stupid little things. There isnt going to be new crack right away unless of course that games band of brotherhood.
Also they dont have time to add the fix's once the game is written to disc and shipped. So they keep working on fix's after that and release them when the game comes out.

Ok just had a quick 20min go and complete my first peaceful mission , the intro's are damn cool really bring that this looks good feel to the game. In peaceful mode you basically play a much easier life more of the money and feeding peasents while complete quests inbetween like build a lighthouse with enough wood. Its easy to control and people go on about there jobs cutting , eating the food. What i found funny was when the wolves attacked people run about screaming and the wolves make quick work of peasants chomp chomp. Voices are cool too, typical english accents Alright me lord! , you can also see other providences on the map aswell zoned up you can see people dieing or fighting in the distance. Although it is peaceful you do get the odd skirmish.
Graphics are a little sluggish , hate to see what big battles are like but this is due to be patched what really drawn me in graphics wise was the animation of units and the Water looks so real!
-
The war campaign i didnt get to play too long, but it started off abit like settlers with your men running for cover i havent even started to build a castle yet, but it was a nice twist and the animeations and voices also pretty cool. Horses move like horses, not pixelated crap.
So far its good... but it needs patching asap , frame rates will suffer

lol just clicked on some chickens and each one has a name , clucky... squacky... noisy the hunting aspect is cool too, your hunter rushs out and fires his arrow at the animals and this dog runs and brings the food back, but whats humourus is the rabbits make a Squeek sound when hit.

Something i dont like in the game is the way wooden walls get knocked down its fucking lame , if an enemy knocks it down it comes down like a lift shaft and them come down with it... but they are unaffected!

It's the same mechanic from the first game, get used to it.

This is another thing about the scene: cracked updates. Normally this was usually taken care of but the scene has really been hit hard. I mean, we have a venerable GLOBAL COMMUNITY of crackers out there.. someone somewhere has to be on this stuff all the time! A Cracked Update is just, if not MORE, important as the initial release itself. Just sad how things have become where there'd always be someone to pick up the slack or fill the vacuum left from the departure of others. Just not damn good.. hope things someday return to normal. The GLOBE should be smarter and more innovative then any protection company!!

Does this really require you to burn with BlindWrite 4.5.7.92? The newest version wont work or something?
