Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions has been announced as the first game to come out from that new Sierra label onto the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 & PC platforms! Even better news? The sequel is being developed by Lucid Games, a small studio founded by people from the now-defunct Bizarre Creations, who made Geometry Wars 1 & 2!
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions is an exciting new evolution of the iconic, fast-paced and frenetic Geometry Wars™ gameplay fans love, and will introduce full 3D action and competitive online multiplayer for the first time in the franchise. Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will feature a single-player campaign with 50 different challenges in addition to 10 different battle modes. One of which is a 4-player couch co-op mode where players get to take on 10 battle modes – five of which are completely brand new to the series.
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions also features a revamped cooperative multiplayer mode, plus dynamic and persistent progression, offering players a consistently new experience each time they play.
Pete Wallace, Studio Head of Lucid Games said: “Thanks to Sierra, we’re planning to release Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions on more platforms than ever before. We’re thrilled to work with the indie team at Sierra to bring the next generation of Geo Wars gameplay to our passionate and loyal fans, and look forward to seeing you all online!”.

HELL YES. GW 1&2 were amazing, played the shit out of both. Was always sad when Bizarre went full stupid mode into racing games and then disintegrated.
Those new arenas are kind of like GW meets Mario Galaxy. ;p I like it!
Next month, Geometry Wars will make its triumphant return with the launch of Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions on the PSN, Xbox Live, and PC. Beginning November 25, PS3 and PS4 owners will be able to download the game from the PSN, followed quickly by its debut on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on November 26. PC players will be able to download the game through Steam on November 25. Announced in August as the first game to be released by Sierra, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions brings a fresh perspective to the beloved series by introducing dynamic 3D environments, as well as a variety of new enemies, bosses, and modes.
When it launches, Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will be priced at $14.99 for all platforms.
