I've played it. Nice game, but has(at least it had when I played it) too many bugs, and you have to spend some time to learn what the hell is going on (what I do not consider to be sth bad). I played one whole campaign (the longest one, from 1936 to 1945....I think), but at some moment the game became very boring and after finishing the campaign I never played that game again. So I would give it 6+/10, you can try it, but you won't get addicted I guess Razz. That's my opinion.

It's a really good game.
Still have it on my HD and play it once a while.
But what I hate it's that the game stop in 1945 when WW2 officialy finished. In my last game I was owning all Europe and half of Russia but the game finished because of the date. I would like to be able to try to conquer all the world. ANd there is no option to continue playing after 1945..

Yep, really looking forward to HOI 2, which is in the making. Some screens and info at http://www.paradoxplaza.com

As said earlier in this thread the game is VERY buggy at 1.0, make sure you update it fully. And when you learn how the game works, try the C.O.R.E mod which improves the game significantly

Well, it's not really RTS...it's not a real time strategy it's more like TBS(turn based strategy).
It's a really nice game once you got to know him, it's kinda hard for begginers but it's fun after you know the basics.
