SMB is definitely the method of choice. I used ccxstream for a bit but got choppy performance when streaming mp3s, let alone streaming movies. Since switching to SMB I've never looked back.

I can't seem to get SMB to work! damn I have win2k and i only see xp tutorials. i tried everything, so i'm with ccxstream!

SMB all the way... used to use XNS but its not as fast nor reliable as SMB. rmariani : your domain/login/pass for your pc is probly set wrong in the XboxMediaPlayer.xml file... go ask in #xbmc on EFnet - they're usually very helpfull.. .-. '=(0.0)=' .='\|m\|'=.
